Information You Submit
Text entered in a search form, such as a name, telephone number, or address, goes to the outside provider that supplies the results. Our own servers do not retain a copy of those searches. When you contact us, we receive the details you put in the message and use them to answer you.
Information Collected Automatically
Our hosting systems create ordinary server logs containing an IP address, browser type, visited pages, and timestamps. We review combined statistics to maintain the service and learn which resources are useful. Cookies or comparable technology may support basic traffic analysis and advertising measurement where applicable.
How We Use Information
The limited data described above helps us operate the site, diagnose faults, count visits, and improve content. We neither sell a visitor list nor assemble individual user profiles.
Privacy on Linked Sites
Links lead to government portals, New Hanover County and North Carolina offices, library collections, and outside search services. Their own policies control any data entered there. The same is true for sponsored search results, which an independent provider supplies.
Parties That Process Data
Companies that host or support the site may process logs for us. Analytics and advertising services may receive the automatic data noted above. We may disclose information in response to valid legal process, but we do not otherwise distribute visitor data.
Safeguarding Visitor Data
An encrypted connection delivers the site. Server logs remain only as long as the stated purposes require. Since visitors do not create accounts, this service holds no user password or account profile.
Visitors Under 18
This service is meant for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly gather personal data from anyone younger than 18. Contact us if a minor submitted such information so it can be deleted.
Your Privacy Choices
Rights to access, correct, or delete site-held personal data may depend on where you live. As of the research date, no broad North Carolina consumer-data statute supplied a universal deletion right, so we do not promise one. We can still check our contact mailbox and server logs for information connected to a request. Use the Contact page. Public records held by Wilmington, New Hanover County, or North Carolina remain under the control of their custodians. N.C.G.S. ยง132-1.10 provides a specific process for redacting listed identifiers from qualifying government records rather than a general removal right.
Changes to This Policy
Any revised policy will appear here. If you keep using the site after a revision, you accept the updated terms.
